Step one

 

The first step we have to do is to run the screw into the inside of the gearbox. Pay attention to ensure that the screw and the gearbox are in full contact during the shaking process. The basis for judging the full contact is whether the screw and plate of the gearbox has no gap above and below.

Step two

 

Then test the assembling of gear box spline sleeve and the screw handle, so as to prevent the handle of the gear box from reaching the spline sleeve during the shaking process, so that the accurate measurement cannot be performed. After the trial installation is completed, the spline sleeve should be set to the bottom of the gear.

Step three

 

Then proceed to the next step to adjust the gap of the screw. First, the two screws are simultaneously turned to the gear box until they are not moved, so that the bottoms of the two screws are in close contact with the shaft portion of the gear box, and then place the prepared dial gauge on any one of the screws. Check it and ensure the close contact between the surface screw of the dial indicator and the tip of the screw is ok ,there is a small trick, which is to modulate the dial gauge to one millimeter, so that the indicator can be prevented from being in false contact with the screw. Then repeatedly pull the dial gauge several times to observe whether the dial gauge reading is stagnant. If there is no stagnation, record the first initial reading of the screw.

Step four

 

Then use the tamper to resist the other screw and while dial forward the screw of the dial indicator. Note that during the toggle, do not drive the other screw forward, then observe the reading and record.

Step five

 

After that resist the screw to the bottom of the gearbox again and repeat the previous step. Finally, the screw is gently moved forward again to observe whether the two readings are the same and no error. If they are the same, subtract the first initial reading to obtain the gap of the screw.

Step six

 

One has been done,and anther also should be regulate. Remenber to toggle double screws to the gearbox while the screws direction and dieback.Then change the dial indicator to another screw and re-adjust the watch and repeat the same steps as the previous screw. Once again, use the crowbar to push the screw forward. Observe the reading, then turn the screw to the bottom of the gearbox, next move the screw forward again to see if the two readings are the same. If they are the same, subtract the first initial reading. At last ,we can get the gap of this screw.

Step seven

 

Finally, observe whether there is an error in the gap between two screws. Under normal circumstances, gap should be within 20 divisions. This not only ensures that the material is fully plasticized in the screw, but also ensures the flow of the material. Note that during the entire adjustment of the screw, the screw should be moved to the bottom of gearbox each time before the reading is taken, paying attention to each time. This makes it easy to accurately measure the readings.
